Joseph Karol co-founded Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc. in 1987. Karol has more than 20 years of industry experience in working with a wide variety of property types. His primary role at Southland is as a Valuation Analyst for national accounts. Karol has leveraged his aggressive and innovative appeal methodology to obtain successful resolution for a wide variety of properties.
Karol has successfully represented virtually all classes of property before local and state boards throughout the United States. He has performed appraisal assignments on industrial, residential, vacant land, commercial, special use and condemnation properties.
He graduated in 1977 from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance with a major concentration in real estate. Karol is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Senior Property Tax Consultant. He is a Texas Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, licensed as a Texas real estate broker, and a charter member of the Appraisal Foundation. He is also a member of the Fort Worth Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, National Association of Homebuilders and the Tarrant Home Builders Association. |
